Flower Of The Week

Can you believe it’s July already? We’re halfway through 2012. Since it’s a new month that means it’s time to learn about a new birth flower.
The birth flower for July is Larkspur

Larkspur is known as many things including larkshead, larkstoe, larksclaw, or knightspur. It can be white, blue, lavender, purple, or pink. It is a very long linear flower with tiny, closely packed blooms. The foliage on the stem is slim and feathery. Larkspur flowers look very delicate and airy and lend themselves well to wildflower arrangements.
Meaning: Ardent attachment, levity, lightness, beautiful spirit, and open heart.
