Ornamental Cabbage, as well as Ornamental Kale, are currently trending for natural-themed weddings. They provide a burst of color, while still giving your arrangement an earthy look. This cabbage variety is still edible, but doesn’t taste much like traditional kale, cabbage and lettuce.

Because it hasn’t been used in floral design until recently, Ornamental Cabbage doesn’t have a floral meaning (most meanings were given to flowers during the Victorian era), but we think that it makes enough of a statement all by itself!

Both Ornamental Cabbage and our last flower of the week, Tulips, are including in the bouquet to the left. These flowers are available throughout the year, but still have a green, spring-time feel.
