Meet Caitie Cunic

Caitie’s Story: It’s kind of a funny story how I came to be a part of the floral industry. I graduated in May of 2011 with a degree in photography. I wasn’t so keen on running my own photography business, so I started looking for a job that I could still use the skills I had learned and that would also let me be my hands on and creative self. After many weeks of scouring job boards I found an ad for a position at a florist managing their social media. It was a shot in the dark since I had no experience with flowers, but I did learn a thing or two about internet advertising in college.  I sent in my resume and Matt called me the next day for an interview. That was a year ago, and I have truly fallen in love with flowers. I have always loved being creative and working with my hands. What better way to do both of those things than to be a floral designer? I am truly greatful for the opportunities and support that Laura, Matt, and Gary have given me. I am blessed to have found a career that I am passionate about and enjoy very much. I look forward to everything I will learn in the coming years.

Caitie’s favorite type of design: I love love love doing wedding work! Bouquets in particular.

Caitie’s favorite flower: I can’t pick just 1 so I will name my top 3. Ranunculus, Anemones, & Daffodils.
