Torch Ginger
Torch Ginger is usually just referred to as Ginger. It can be pink, magenta, or red. The flower head is a cluster of bracts that resemble a flame. The stems are very long and thick. Ginger is temperature sensitive and needs to be stored between 45 and 55 degrees F. Meaning: Proud; Strength; Red: Unlimited Wealth
Beehive Ginger
Beehive Ginger can also be known as Shampoo Ginger or Pinecone Ginger. Unlike Torch Ginger, Beehive Ginger is fragrant. The bloom is honeycomb shaped and is usually 4 to 6 inches across. It is always orange. Beehive Ginger needs to be kept the same temperature as the Torch Ginger. Meaning: Proud
